Project Name: Upland Stormwater Infrastructure Project

Request Amount: $5 million

Explanation of the Request:
Upland Stormwater Infrastructure Project will provide greater flood control retention and groundwater aquifer recharge capacities.  This requested funding would help with the construction of storm drainage infrastructure conveying stormwater runoff directly to the Upland basins expanded water recharge capabilities.  Completion of the project will increase water (stormwater, imported water, and recycled water) conservation; augment water supply and reliability; and, enhance public safety.  The Upland Basin Expansion Project was authorized by P.L. 110-114, the Water Resources Development Act.
