2009 Surface Transportation Reauthorization Requests

City of La Canada Flintridge

The City of La Cañada Flintridge’s request is for the I-210 Soundwall project for $12 million.  The I-210 bisects the City, built in the late 1960’s without soundwalls and under protest from the community.  The proposed soundwalls are necessary to reduce extreme noise levels and the project includes environmental review, alternatives analysis, right-of-way acquisition, design and construction on both the east- and west-bound I-210.
