2009 Surface Transportation Reauthorization Requests

City of Rancho Cucamonga

The City of Rancho Cucamonga requested two projects: the ongoing I-15/Base Line Road Interchange Improvements project for $5.3 million and the proposed I-15/Arrow Route Interchange project for $500,000.  Rancho Cucamonga has worked closely with the San Bernardino Associated Governments to prioritize improvements to the I-15/Base Line Road Interchange which include widening the ramps and bridges, widening Base Line Road, widening and adding lanes on East Avenue, realigning diamond lane ramps, adding a southbound on-ramp and adding acceleration/deceleration lanes on the I-15.  Rancho Cucamonga is also beginning design on improvements to I-15/Arrow Route Interchange which includes two new bridge structures for the southbound on-ramp, reconfigured loop ramp for westbound Foothill Boulevard to southbound I-15, new southbound on- and off-ramps to and from Arrow Route, and new northbound on- and off-ramps to and from Arrow Route.
