Dreier Statement Regarding Virginia Tech Shootings

April 17, 2007

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman David Dreier (R-San Dimas, CA) made the following statement today regarding the shootings at Virginia Tech, as President Bush ordered all American flags be flown at half mast until sunset on April 22, 2007:

"The massacre at Virginia Tech remains beyond comprehension. People all across the country are grieving the senseless loss of innocent lives. We are all affected by the thought of students, professors, and staff going about the business of education and suddenly being confronted by a murderous madman. The victims, their families and friends, and the entire Virginia Tech community are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time."
